Behrman Capital Sells ACS Communications to Black Box
NEW YORK, NY — October 16, 2008— Behrman Capital, a private equity investment firm based in New York and San Francisco, announced today that Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ: BBOX), a leading provider of voice services, data services, and IT product solutions, has completed the acquisition of ACS Communications, Inc., a fully-integrated technology services company, from Behrman Capital.
Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, ACS Communications specializes in technology deployments, data center support services, managed staffing, and dispatch services. The company is also a national provider of copper and fiber structured cabling systems, network design, installation, splicing, termination, testing, sustaining maintenance services, emergency restoration and documentation for high-quality, highspeed communications networks. ACS maintains daily operations in over 30 states and has over 400 technicians employed nationwide at many of the world’s top companies.
